Dr. Gabrielle Vaughn is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and an associate clinical professor of pediatrics at UC San Diego School of Medicine.

Dr. Vaughn earned her bachelor's degree in biochemistry and cell biology from UC San Diego and received her medical degree from UC Irvine School of Medicine. She completed her general pediatric residency training and her pediatric cardiology fellowship at UC San Diego. She obtained an additional year of fellowship training with a focus on pediatric heart failure and heart transplantation at Seattle Children's Hospital.

Dr. Vaughn's clinical and research interests include the diagnosis and management of pediatric heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation. She specializes in caring for children with heart failure due to congenital heart disease and cardiomyopathy.
