Lorri Kais, Ph.D.

Bio

Lorri Kais, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist and pediatric neuropsychologist and a member of the Pediatric Neuropsychology Specialty Services team at Rady Children’s Hospital–San Diego.

Dr. Kais earned her Ph.D. from Loyola University Chicago and completed her internship in pediatric neuropsychology at the University of Minnesota Medical School, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus/Children’s Hospital Colorado.

At Rady Children’s, Dr. Kais works collaboratively with each patient and family to understand their goals for neuropsychological evaluation and to provide clear, individualized recommendations. Her clinical experience includes assessments of children and young adults with a wide range of medical and neurological conditions, including genetic disorders, congenital heart disease, solid organ transplant, leukemia, brain tumors, traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. She is part of the Pediatric Neuropsychology Program, supporting patients with complex developmental and medical needs.
