Bio
Dr. Sun Choo is a pediatric hematologist/oncologist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and an associate clinical professor of pediatrics at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
After attending medical school at UC Irvine she completed her pediatric residency at UC Los Angeles, followed by a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at UC San Diego. She is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric hematology/oncology.
Dr. Choo's primarily clinical interest is pediatric solid tumors. Her research focuses on Ewing sarcoma metastasis. She is the co-program director for the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program and enjoys teaching medical students and residents as co-director for the second-year pediatric resident hematology/oncology rotation.
When not working, Dr. Choo enjoys spending time with her family.
