Processing Instructions
Separate plasma from cells within 2 hours of collection and transfer plasma to a screw-cap tube. DO NOT USE SNAP-CAP TUBES. Place plasma in a small clear bag and place in -80 freezer MDL (PCR) bin ASAP.
Comments
If EBV PCR, Qualitative is positive, then EBV DNA, Quantitative PCR will be reflexed and reported the same day.
