FACES for the Future

Anne Nguyen graduated from FACES San Diego in 2013 and is currently a student at California State University San Marcos. “FACES gave wings to many students who lived throughout the underprivileged areas, like mine, and helped to make our dreams come true.”

FACES for the Future San Diego is a comprehensive health careers pathway program that prepares high school students in San Diego for careers that offer livable wages and upward mobility within the broad fields of science and health. When founded in Oakland, California, FACES was designed to support students from traditionally under-resourced areas who had limited access and exposure to these career fields. Currently, the FACES- San Diego cohort includes Hoover, Crawford and Kearny High Schools.
