Concussion Conference Videos

Rady Children’s Hospital held the “When Heads Collide!” concussion conference on Saturday, July 15, 2017. Participants included physicians (primary care and sports medicine specialists), physical therapists and certified athletic trainers.

The conference’s purpose was to dispel commonly held myths about the management of concussion and long-term sequelae. There were three sections: the diagnosis of concussion; the management of concussion, including returning to play and returning to school; and a panel discussion on head injury and concomitant cervical spine injury.

Each of the videos below is approximately 1 hour and would be best viewed in sequence, but they can be reviewed separately to get specific information on the topic.
