Dr. John Moore is the medical director of cardiology at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and professor of pediatrics and chief of the Department of Pediatric Cardiology at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
Dr. Moore is a distinguished graduate of the United States Military Academy, Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public Health.
He has served as chairman of the executive committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Section on Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery and as the Cardiology Representative on the Pediatric Advisory Committee to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Dr. Moore is the medical editor of Congenital Cardiology Today and an associate editor of Congenital Heart Disease. He also serves on the editorial boards of the American Journal of Cardiology and The Journal of Invasive Cardiology.
Dr. Moore's major clinical and research focus is congenital and structural interventional cardiology.
