About Customer Care and Patient Advocacy
Having a child in the hospital can feel confusing and stressful. Customer Care and Patient Advocacy is here to help your family. We answer your questions, explain how things work, and help you find the right person to talk to. If something doesn’t feel right with your child’s care, we will listen and work with the care team to help make it better. Our job is to make sure your family is heard and your rights are respected.
Our team can help families with:
- Clarifying hospital policies and procedures so families know what to expect.
- Connecting families with the appropriate staff, department, or service.
- Investigating concerns and complaints, and coordinating a thoughtful resolution.
- Collaborating with your child’s care team to address issues as they arise.
- Serving as a neutral advocate when families and clinical staff need support reaching resolution.
