Bio
Dr. Tatyana Mills is a pediatric hospitalist at Rady Children’s Hospital in the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at UC San Diego School of Medicine. She attended medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. She completed internship and residency at UC San Diego/Rady Children’s Hospital. Dr. Mills has also completed her pediatric hospital medicine fellowship at UC San Diego/Rady Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Mills is passionate in providing compassionate and specialized care to a diverse patient population, with specific focus on complex care. She is interested in clinical research, medical education, and quality improvement. Her prior research and main research interest focuses on understanding the microbiome in children with medical complexity and how it can be modified to improve the quality of care.
Outside of work, Dr. Mills enjoys spending time outside with her family including going to the beach and hiking, exploring new restaurants in San Diego, and gardening.
