Dr. Sunita Sridhar is a Hematologist/Oncologist at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego. She primarily works with the solid tumor and Neuro-Oncology teams and works in an inpatient and outpatient capacity. Dr. Sridhar earned a Bachelor of Science from University of California Berkeley.
She received her medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland. Subsequently, she completed her fellowship in Hematology-Oncology and Neuro-Oncology at UC San Diego/Rady Children's Hospital.
In addition to clinical work, Dr. Sridhar does research at UCSD with Dr.Lukas Chavez, investigating the role of extrachromosomal DNA in pediatric cancers. She also enjoys teaching and facilitating courses at the UCSD Medical School.
