Dr. Susan Biffl is a rehabilitation medicine specialist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and an assistant professor at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
Dr. Biffl was a pediatric physical therapist for ten years before deciding to attend medical school at University of Colorado School of Medicine. She went on to complete a combined pediatrics and physical medicine and rehabilitation medicine residency and fellowship at the same institution. She was an attending physician at Children's Hospital of Colorado and Denver Health and Hospitals for six years before she developed a practice in Hawaii, where she continues to provide outreach services.
Dr. Biffl is board certified in pediatrics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation and brain injury medicine. She is a committee member of the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine. She enjoys providing care to children with all types of rehabilitation needs with an emphasis on cerebral palsy and spasticity management, brain injury including complex concussion, spinal cord injury and spinal defects and neuro-oncology rehab care.
