Dr. Victoria Barrio is a dermatologist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and a professor of dermatology and pediatrics at UC San Diego.

After completing her undergraduate education at Rice University, Dr. Barrio attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine. She then completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of Washington and Seattle Children's Hospital and her residency in dermatology at the University of Louisville, where she served as chief resident in her last year. She went on to complete her fellowship in pediatric dermatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

Dr. Barrio is board certified in dermatology and pediatric dermatology. She has a strong interest in medical education and is a past recipient of the UC San Diego Dermatology Goltz Excellence in Teaching award, and is the Education Director for rotators in their pediatric dermatology clerkships.

Dr. Barrio enjoys spending time with family, the outdoors, traveling.
