Dr. Magdalene A. Dohil is a dermatologist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and a clinical professor of pediatrics and dermatology at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
After earning her medical degree from the prestigious Wilhelms University Muenster, she completed her residency in Germany. She continued her pediatric dermatology training as a fellow at British Columbia Childrenâ€™s Hospital before completing a fellowship at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego.
Dr. Dohil has been a practicing dermatologist for well over a decade, with a particular focus on eczema. She co-founded the Eczema Center at Rady Children's Hospital, which was recognized for its outstanding services with a Golden Triangle Award from the American Academy of Dermatology in 2010.
Dr. Dohil is an expert in pediatric dermatologic surgery. She teaches both across the US and internationally and has been invited to review leading dermatologic medical journals.
She is an elected member of the Academy of Clinician Scholars at UC San Diego in acknowledgement of her outstanding contributions to clinical care and research.
