Jaime P. Sellers, MD, MPH

Bio

Dr. Jaime Sellers is a pediatric palliative care physician and pediatric hospitalist at Rady Children’s Hospital, where she is also the Director of Clinical Operations for the Pediatric Palliative Care Team. Additionally, she is a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Pediatrics at UC San Diego.

She received her Medical Degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix while simultaneously obtaining a Master of Public Health degree from the U of A. After completing residency at the UC Irvine/CHOC pediatric residency program, she wanted to subspecialize in Pediatric Palliative Care and subsequently matched into a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship with Akron Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Sellers is passionate about providing the highest quality care for patients and their families. Her academic interests focus on pediatric palliative medicine, with her research directed at palliative education across the medical continuum and home-based visits and telemedicine for medically vulnerable children. She enjoys teaching, medical education, advocacy, wellness initiatives, and community outreach. Outside of work, Dr. Sellers enjoys game nights, trying new restaurants, movies, beach days, yoga, spending time with her family and friends, and playing with her two boys.
