Dr. Megan Rose Paul is a hematologist/oncologist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego. She primarily works with the Solid Tumor and Neuro-Oncology programs on both the inpatient unit and outpatient clinic, and does research in the area of pediatric brain tumors.

Dr. Paul earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona, graduating magna cum laude with honors. She received her medical degree and completed her pediatrics residency with the University of Arizona School of Medicine. Following her residency, Dr. Paul completed her fellowship in hematology/oncology at UC San Diego/ Rady Children"s Hospital and also completed an additional fellowship in pediatric neuro-oncology.

In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Paul does research at the University of California San Diego Moores Cancer Center where she is investigating the therapeutic vulnerabilities of medulloblastoma. Her research interests involve finding better treatment options for children with brain and spinal tumors as well as the supportive care of neurocognitive effects of pediatric brain tumor therapy. She is currently also a research fellow with the NIH T32 Pediatric Pharmacology program at UCSD.

When she is not at work, Dr. Paul enjoys spending time with her two children and dog.
