Overview
The Children’s Hospital Emergency Transport (CHET) Team at Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego provides 24-hour emergency critical care transport to more than 2,000 neonatal and pediatric patients a year throughout Southern California. We provide immediate response to requests for transport or consultation by hospitals, clinics and physician offices in San Diego, Imperial and Riverside counties.
There are two transport teams: the Pediatric Transports & Team and the Neonatal Transports & Team. Each team is equipped with self-contained medical equipment to provide expert critical care to our patients. The extensive training and experience help to ensure the health and well-being of the children in our community.
