Transport ETA
The mode of transport will be determined by patient acuity, the patient’s potential to deteriorate, travel distance, weather and availability of an aircraft (either rotor-wing or fixed-wing) or ground ambulance. ETA is estimated at the time of dispatch and may change based on any of the operational factors listed above.
The CHET team and Transfer Center will communicate any significant ETA updates as they occur to the referring facility. Early coordination and timely clinical information will help facilitate the most efficient transport response.
