PUBLIC NOTICE
The Joint Commission conducts an accreditation survey of Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego every three years.
The purpose of the survey is to evaluate the organization’s compliance with nationally established Joint Commission standards. The survey results will be used to determine whether, and the conditions under which, accreditation should be awarded the organization.
Joint Commission standards deal with organizational quality, safety-of-care issues, and the safety of the environment in which care is provided. Rady Children’s Hospital encourages anyone who believes they have pertinent and valid information about patient care or safety issues but does not feel that there has been appropriate resolution, to report these concerns.
