U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospitals
In 2020, Rady Children’s once again achieved rankings in all 10 specialties surveyed by U.S. News & World Report, with our Neonatology program ranked as No. 4 in the country and our Orthopedics program as No. 7. The Hospital also improved or maintained its rankings in eight of the 10 specialties surveyed when compared to the previous year’s results.
PICU Beacon Award
Rady Children’s pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) was honored in 2019 with a gold-level Beacon Award for Excellence from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. Only three PICUs in California and 12 across the country received gold-level accolades for their exceptional level of care and outstanding patient outcomes.
Professional Research Consultants Awards
National health care research leader Professional Research Consultants honored Rady Children’s in 2019 with six awards for patient experience excellence. Rady Children’s Inpatient Services received its highest honor, the Award of Distinction for Excellent Performance.
