Shelley Turner, LCSW, Manager, Developmental Services Programs & Services, Murrieta
Shelley, a licensed clinical social worker, has been a member of the Rady Children’s family since 1997 and a member of the Developmental Services leadership team since 2008. She provides administrative oversight of the Autism Discovery Institute, Developmental Evaluation Clinic and Alexa’s PLAYC.  For over 25 years, her career has been dedicated to serving children. Specifically, she has focused on prevention, early intervention and treatment in the areas of family violence, child abuse and neglect, and infant/early childhood development.

Early Childhood Autism Education Associates

Gloria Barosko
Gloria earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University San Bernardino, where she also studied abroad through Semester at Sea. She has training in applied behavioral analysis and six years of experience as a behavioral therapist and early childhood specialist, working with children with developmental delays and autism spectrum disorders. Gloria is passionate about empowering families and children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family outdoors — camping and off-roading.

William Chancellor
William received his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Cal State Fullerton. He has continued his education in early childhood education and aspires to obtain his Master of Social Work.  For the past seven years, William has worked with children 0-5 years old in multiple capacities: teaching English abroad, serving at-risk families experiencing crisis and most recently, working as a behavioral therapist with children with developmental delays and autism spectrum disorders. During his spare time, he enjoys swimming, traveling and swimming.

Early Childhood Teachers

Kathy Alston
Kathy received a Bachelor of Science in deaf studies from World Evangelism Bible College. Afterward, she interpreted for Goodwill Industries as an advocate for the deaf. Later, she continued her education, focusing on early childhood studies, at Mt. San Jacinto College in Menifee. Kathy has worked with preschool children for 20 years. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, movies, baking and sketching.

Tayler McClellan
Tayler received her bachelor’s degree in early childhood studies with a concentration in early childhood intervention from California Baptist University. She has taught preschool for more than four years. In her spare time, she enjoys coaching the cheerleading team at the University of California Riverside, shopping and working out.

Cassidy Robinson
Cassidy earned her Bachelors of Arts in child development with a minor in family studies from Humboldt State University. She has worked in several preschools over the years, all with a play-based learning approach. In her spare time, she enjoys cuddling with her cocker spaniel and taking day trips to Disney.

Araceli Ramirez-Medina
Araceli has a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies. She has more than 20 years of experience, providing special needs services for a school district and teaching in a preschool. Areceli loves to teach and help children reach their full potential. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, including camping and off-roading together.

Felicia Severhill
Felicia earned her bachelor’s degree in child development from Humboldt State University. She has more than 10 years of experience working in a play-based preschool setting. She is excited to incorporate all her knowledge and experience into her role as a preschool teacher here at Alexa’s PLAYC. During her spare time, Felicia likes to spend time with her family, enjoys cooking and being outdoors.
