Dr. Akilah Weber has taken on a new role in the community and will have very limited appointment availability in her practice.
We are committed to ensuring a smooth transition of care for your child. Referrals and follow-ups will be redirected to the appropriate specialist who can treat your/your child’s condition. Unless you have already been contacted by a member of our team, you can reach out to your primary care provider to be referred to a new provider/specialist.
Existing patients with any medical questions/concerns may send a message to Dr. Weber’s nurse, who will be also supporting Adolescent Medicine through the MyChart portal, or call the clinical back-office line at 858-966-8973.

Overview
The Pediatric and Adolesc
ent Gynecology Program at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego focuses on the unique health needs of girls and teens.
Expert care is provided by Akilah Weber M.D., a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist with specialized training in pediatric and adolescent gynecology. This training enables continuous care for our patients through adulthood.
Dr. Weber manages a wide range of conditions, including:
- Congenital anomalies of the hymen
- Congenital anomalies of the uterus and vagina
- Lichen sclerosis
- Ovarian masses
- Puberty disorders
