Acquired Brain Injury Clinic
The Acquired Brain Injury Clinic provides multidisciplinary treatment of patients with acquired brain injury from various causes. This includes traumatic brain injury, strokes, arteriovenous malformations and brain tumors.
Jenna Stromsoe, M.S.N., R.N., CPN
Jenna acts as the primary coordinator for our Acquired Brain Injury/Spinal Cord Injury Clinic, Spinal Defects Clinic and Limb Difference Clinic. She began her nursing career in August 2016 as a registered nurse caring for patients on Rady Children’s inpatient Surgery and Rehabilitation Unit. She transitioned into her role as a R.N. Care Coordinator with the Rehabilitation Medicine Team in November 2018.
Karen has been a physical therapist since 1985 and has worked at Rady Children’s since 1995. Karen specializes in spinal defects, arthrogryposis, neonatal intensive care, torticollis, durable medical equipment, splinting/orthotics, developmental delay, early intervention and rehabilitation. Karen is certified in childbirth education.
Melissa became an occupational therapist in 2006 when she began working at Rady Children’s. She is a nationally certified occupational therapist and a current member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Her goal is to provide excellent services and assist children in reaching their full potential.
