What Is MyChart?
Rady Childen’s MyChart is our on-line patient portal that provides access to your child’s personal health information and allows you to communicate with their healthcare team. MyChart offers parents personalized and secure on-line access to portions of their child’s medical records. It enables you to securely use the Internet to help manage and receive information about your child’s health.
What Is MyChart Bedside?
MyChart Bedside allows access to information from your child’s Rady Children’s emergency department, urgent care or inpatient admission through your MyChart account.
Rady Children’s MyChart Services
- Review tests or lab results
- Schedule and reschedule in-person appointments
- Check in for in-person or virtual appointments (outpatient only)
- Complete patient questionnaires
- Sign electronic consents
- Read notes from the care team
- Communicate with the care team (outpatient only)
- Review patient education topics (inpatient only)
- Pay balances or co-pays
Did You Know…
- Caregiver access to a child’s MyChart health information varies by patient age.
- Teenagers’ health information privacy is protected by law.
- Children should set up a separate MyChart account starting at age 12.
