Rady Children’s Hospital is committed to supporting our patients, families, caregivers, employees and community members in ways that help to keep everyone healthy and well. One way we all stay healthy is to eat well-balanced and nutritious meals, but due to our busy lives, meals and snacks often consist of pre-packaged and highly processed foods.
To help you and your family eat well, the Center for Healthier Communities and our Food and Nutrition Services Department have created these quick and lively videos that teach you about nutrition and show how to prepare simple healthful meals. Along with learning the basics on proteins, fiber, healthy fats, antioxidants, carbohydrates, portion sizes, hydration and nutrition labels, you’ll learn how to make healthy and delicious breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks and beverages.
