John M. Sachs Family Clinic for Autism Spectrum Disorders
The John M. Sachs Family Clinic for Autism Spectrum Disorders provides collaborative evaluation, therapeutic and care coordination services for children with autism or other neurodevelopmental concerns.
Research has shown that early diagnosis and access to early interventions greatly benefits the quality of life for children and their families. Our goal is to provide early access to integrated care from a multidisciplinary clinical team.
Our program at Torrey Hills offers coordinated care with one point of contact and support. Our care coordinator learns about your family’s strengths and needs in order to prioritize recommended services at Rady Children’s and throughout the community.
Who We Serve
Our clinic services children ages 0-18 with neurodevelopmental concerns in the domains of language, social communication, behavior and attention. Our team specializes in caring for individuals with autism spectrum disorder who may also have accompanying conditions such as attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, depression, global developmental delay and oppositional defiant disorder. Families from Torrey Hills and surrounding regions can access diagnostic evaluations, medical evaluations and ongoing therapy under one roof at our Torrey Hills facility.
How We Are Unique
Our program supports a number of providers across a range of disciplines to meet children’s developmental, behavioral, medical and mental health needs. Families have the opportunity to access a range of services in one central location. Care coordination is offered to help children and their families navigate the evaluation and treatment process.
