Children’s Care Connection (C3)
Children’s Care Connection (C3) is a free program at RCHSD that is funded by First 5 San Diego. C3 is a resource program that can help identify and address behavioral and developmental concerns for children between the ages of 0-5 years and 11 months (not in kindergarten). C3 offers a variety of developmental and behavioral screening, assessments, and classes.

Healthy Development Services

Healthy Developmental services (HDS) is a free program at RCHSD that is funded by First 5 San Diego. HDS provides services for children ages 0-5 years with mild to moderate developmental and behavior concerns who are unable to access services elsewhere for early intervention.

First 5 San Diego

First 5 San Diego is the region’s organization that focuses on the health and well-being of children from 0-5 years old. First 5 San Diego provides development checkups, dental checkups, a high-quality preschool, and parenting works.

Children’s Hospital Autism Institute

Children’s Hospital Autism Institute provides cutting-edge research and multidisciplinary services for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Services include developmental behavioral intervention, evaluations, cognitive behavioral therapy, social skills groups, and more.

KidSTART

KidSTART is a program at RCHSD that includes two components: KidSTART Mental Health Clinic (operated by Rady’s Chadwick Center) and KidSTART Center (operated by Rady’s Developmental Services). KidSTART is funded by First 5 San

Pathways is a free online resource for parents to help enhance motor, sensory, social-emotional, and communication development and empower parents to understand their child’s development.

Baby Carriers & Other Equipment – International Hip Dysplasia Institute

International Hip Dysplasia Institute is a nonprofit organization that provides education and resources to patients, families, and physicians about hip dysplasia and treatment.

San Diego Regional Center

San Diego Regional Center is an organization that offers at home Early Intervention Services for children 0-3 years of age with developmental disabilities or at risk of developmental delays. Majority of services are free once eligibility is determined.

California Children’s Services (CCS) Medical Therapy Program

California children services (CCS) is a statewide program for children under the age of 21 years old with certain chronic, disabling, or life-threatening diseases. CCS provides treatment services, durable medical equipment, medical case management, and physical and occupational therapy services to children with CCS-eligible medical conditions.
