Alesha and Lesly

Alesha, who volunteers at the Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, doesn’t let cerebral palsy stop her from pursuing her dreams. Meet Alesha.

Our multidisciplinary team of orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, occupational, physical and speech therapists, orthotists, social workers, and consulting specialists provide a complete evaluation, diagnosis and treatment.

During your visit, you will meet with members of this team, which includes Henry Chambers, M.D., program medical director; Allison Dickinson, PA-C, program physician assistant; and Carolina Schaber, R.N., program clinical director, who will evaluate your child and provide a treatment plan.

We offer a full range of services, including a Comprehensive Spasticity Management Program. If you or your child need surgery, Rady Children’s has expert hospitalists, pediatric anesthesiologists, critical care specialists and clinical consultants.

As each patient has unique needs based on his or her diagnosis, we are committed to understanding these needs and working with patients and their families to provide the most personalized and advanced care. It is our goal to improve function and quality of life for all of our patients.
