City Beaches Lifeguard Services
The beach is a way of life for many San Diegans and those who visit it. It offers endless views, ocean breezes and the chance to take in all that Southern California offers. And now the beach is even more accessible for travelers with disabilities and others with limited mobility due to the availability of special equipment. Through the efforts of the City of San Diego, Port of San Diego, local residents and council members, there are now a variety of manual, powered and floating beach chairs plus sand access mats available at various beaches throughout San Diego County.
Disney parks provide accessible experiences for guests, and Disability Access Service (DAS) is a tool to enhance the service provided to guests with disabilities. For more information, click on the link below.
Most attractions at the park are accessible to disabled guests, depending on the nature of the disability. For those disabled guests who require a caregiver, a compassion pass is available. The caregiver MUST be a licensed caregiver-medical assistant, LVN or RN. A copy of the caregiver’s license must be presented at guest services to obtain this pass. You can download the Access Guide below.
